Principal’s note

The French International School of Skopje in North Macedonia welcomes students from the age of 2, and schooling continues until the 5th grade. The institution is accredited by the French Ministry of National Education for all its classes. Students thrive and become autonomous here. The teaching team focuses on differentiated pedagogies, enabling each student to achieve a very good level of French while also fostering future citizens who are enlightened and open to the world through the lens of the French national education programs.

What characterizes the EFIS is this constant spirit of openness and kindness present for every student and their parents, creating a cohesion that is essential for academic success. This dynamic revolves around ambitious projects both in terms of pedagogical innovation and global engagement, with access to education in three languages for each student, reflecting the image of a modern school committed to its students. Our motto: “one school, three languages.”

Our ambition is to make the school shine within the city of Skopje and in the beautiful country of North Macedonia through a shared French culture, while also allowing our students to develop in an international context where everyone sharpens their openness to others and the world. Our structure, organized around small classes and project-based learning, contributes to this pursuit of excellence without forgetting the strong connection with Macedonian language and culture.
